A wonderfully characterful vintage wall-mounted pig’s head towel ring, with hand-painted detailing and a fabulous timeworn finish.
The moulded pig’s head is painted in a soft blush pink, with expressive hand-painted eyes, a darker mottled snout and a fine red line defining the mouth. A substantial aged metal ring passes through either side of the mouth to form the towel holder.
The surface has acquired extensive rubbing, chipping and patination over time, giving the piece a particularly appealing folk-art quality. We have deliberately left this entirely untouched.
A brilliantly eccentric addition to a country kitchen, boot room, cloakroom or bathroom.
