A superb and increasingly hard-to-find pair of original Bronnley soap crates, dating to the early–mid 20th century.
Constructed in solid pine with hand-cut scalloped fronts and original stencilled branding, these are authentic commercial packing crates from the renowned British soap maker Bronnley. 
The proportions are excellent, wide and shallow , making them far more usable than smaller fruit crates often found.
The timber has developed a beautiful dry patina with honest wear, remnants of old labels and historic surface marks consistent with age and use. They have not been over-restored and retain their genuine utilitarian character
