A characterful mid-century advertising ashtray in the form of a Firestone tyre, complete with its original central insert. These were produced as promotional counter pieces for garages and tyre dealerships, and have since become highly collectible pieces of automobilia.
The moulded rubber tyre is crisply embossed “Firestone Deluxe Champion”, with a nicely weighted feel and good surface detail. The removable inner dish sits neatly within the tyre, making it both decorative and functional.
A great desk or coffee table piece with strong industrial and motoring appeal,  equally suited as a trinket dish.
