A distinguished mid-Victorian breakfront chiffonier crafted in richly figured Havana mahogany, with deep flame and crotch veneers that give the piece a beautifully warm, ruby patina. The bold breakfront form, rounded corners and solid mahogany mouldings reflect the high-quality cabinetmaking of the mid-C19th.
 
The interior is arranged with a central drawer over double doors, flanked by two generous side cupboards. The left-hand cupboard retains its original Victorian sliding trays, and the right-hand cupboard retains its original fixed shelves.
 
The arched, panelled doors, book-matched veneers and shapely mouldings all present beautifully, and the interior carcass and shelving remain entirely original. Condition is excellent for age, with only light historic marks that sit comfortably within its Victorian character.
