An exceptionally elegant French interwar crystal decanter service, attributed to the renowned crystal house Saint-Louis in the sought-after “Manon” pattern.

Dating from circa 1924–1939, the set comprises a beautifully proportioned engraved crystal decanter with faceted stopper accompanied by ten matching tumblers. Each piece is decorated with refined neo-classical engraving including Greek key borders, stylised anthemion motifs and delicate swagged garlands, all executed with remarkable finesse.

The elegant elongated form of the decanter, together with the restrained classical ornamentation, gives the set a wonderfully sophisticated interwar aesthetic evocative of grand Parisian entertaining and early cocktail culture.

Both highly decorative and entirely practical, this is a rare and substantial matching service which would make a striking addition to a bar, drinks trolley or display cabinet.

Condition report:

Presented in excellent condition with light age-related wear commensurate with age and use. The stopper appears original and well matched to the decanter.
