A charming early-19th-century mahogany washstand or bedside table, dating from circa 1820–1840.
The shaped gallery sits above a beautifully figured rectangular top, with a single hand-dovetailed drawer retaining its attractive brass and bone-drop handle. Raised on slender square legs with shaped corner brackets and a useful lower shelf.
Its elegant proportions make it ideal as a bedside table, lamp table or occasional table.

Presented in good antique condition with minor age-related marks and wear consistent with its age.
