A charming and delicately rendered watercolour by British artist Raoul Millais (1901–1999) showing three elegant female studies, each wearing stylised Edwardian-inspired hats. Executed in Millais’s distinctive rose-sepia palette with fine ink line work, the piece has a wonderfully light, lyrical quality. The work is initialled R M lower right and titled in pencil. It is presented in its original gallery mount and gilt frame, with provenance label from David Ker Fine Art, London SW1 on the reverse.

 

Period: 20th century; Materials: Watercolour and ink on paper. The work is in very good overall condition, the watercolour is clean and undamaged; the frame and mount are in very presentable order and ready to hang.
