A striking pair of vintage Metalarte floor lamps, made in Spain, with wonderfully tall, elegant proportions and a strong Modernist aesthetic.
Each lamp features a slender black leather-clad column, detailed with brushed metal fittings and a substantial clear acrylic section towards the top. The lamps stand on wide circular brushed metal bases, giving them a beautifully architectural silhouette.
The combination of black leather, polished metal and clear acrylic is particularly sophisticated and makes these an excellent statement pair for either a contemporary or more eclectic interior.
Stamped “MADE IN SPAIN” to the underside.
The lamps are in good vintage condition with characterful age-related wear. There is rubbing and some loss to the black leather covering, together with surface scratching, spotting and patination to the metal bases, as shown in the photographs.
