A striking pair of mid-20th-century cranberry glass table lamps, each of elegant baluster form with a richly coloured ruby red body and hand-enamelled floral decoration in white with subtle grey and gilt detailing.
The glass sections are mounted on substantial gilt-finished metal bases, finely cast with classical relief decoration and a pierced gallery to the stepped plinths. Their generous scale and strong colour give them real presence, making them ideal statement lamps for a console, sideboard or bedside tables.
Likely dating from the 1950s–1960s, these lamps combine decorative glass with traditional classical bases — a timeless look that works equally well in both period and contemporary interiors.
Both lamps have been professionally rewired and PAT tested and are fitted with bayonet bulb holders.
