A handsome pair of English bedside tables by Reprodux, the renowned cabinetmaking brand of Bevan Funnell, crafted in beautifully figured yew wood and dating to the late 20th century.
Each table features a well-proportioned rectangular top with a raised gallery edge and re-entrant corners, above a single drawer fitted with classic brass swan-neck handles. The drawers are traditionally constructed with dovetail joints and retain their original Reprodux maker’s plaques.
The tops display particularly attractive burr yew figuring, with warm honey tones and rich natural variation that bring depth and character to the pair. Beneath, a shaped undertier shelf provides useful additional storage, making them both practical and elegant.
A versatile and timeless pair, equally suited as bedside tables or occasional tables within both traditional and more eclectic interiors.
Condition:
Recently cleaned and polished, presenting beautifully. Minor age-related marks remain to the tops, consistent with use, but overall the pair is in very good vintage condition and ready to place.
