Pair of Lion Mask Cast Iron Garden Armchairs

A highly decorative pair of cast iron and hardwood garden armchairs, featuring striking lion-mask arm terminals and elaborate scrolling castings throughout.

Raised on elegant cabriole-form legs with scroll feet, the chairs display beautifully detailed Victorian revival castings with lion heads, acanthus ornament and flowing foliate scrollwork. The generous proportions and substantial weight give them a strong architectural presence, making them equally suited to a formal garden, terrace, courtyard or conservatory.

The chairs retain their original hardwood slats, which have weathered naturally over time and acquired an attractive aged patina. The cast iron frames are finished in a distressed white paint, complementing the characterful timber and decorative detailing.

Presented in untouched condition, offering plenty of charm and character as they stand, while also providing an excellent opportunity for restoration should a purchaser wish to replace or refinish the timber.

A handsome and increasingly sought-after pair of garden armchairs with timeless decorative appeal.
