A charming hand-crafted copper and brass vase inspired by the traditional Indian lota water vessel. Beautifully hand-hammered, it has a warm mellow copper body contrasted with a brass neck and lower section, creating a striking two-tone finish that has developed an attractive aged patina over time.
The simple rounded form makes it a versatile decorative object, equally at home displayed on a shelf, console table or grouped with other metalware. It also works beautifully with a few dried stems or left empty as a sculptural accent.
The visible hammer marks and hand-finished construction give each piece its own individual character, while the naturally aged surface reflects years of gentle use.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-related wear, surface patination and oxidation consistent with age and use. The interior shows mineral deposits from previous use as a vase. Structurally sound.
