A characterful matched set of six wooden Windsor chairs, comprising four side chairs and two armchairs. The chairs feature shaped hoop backs, pierced wheel splats, turned spindles and legs, and beautifully figured saddle seats. The back designs vary across the set, while the chairs have a coordinated overall appearance.
The seats appear to be elm, with the frames in ash and beech. This is a visual identification.
