A beautifully matched pair of antique Mediterranean terracotta olive jars, dating to the late 19th to early 20th century.
Hand-thrown in a traditional form, each vessel features twin lug handles and decorative tooled bands around the shoulder, with a wonderfully rich, timeworn patina developed over years of use. The deep earthy tones and surface variation give them a strong sculptural presence, making them ideal for interior styling, garden rooms or as statement standalone pieces.
Although not an exact pair, they are very well matched in scale and form and sit beautifully together.
Condition:
In good antique condition with age-related wear throughout. One jar has a small chip to the base; both show surface weathering and marks consistent with age and use. Structurally sound.
