A charming late nineteenth-century French faux bamboo wall mirror, dating to around 1880–1900.
Crafted in solid walnut, the frame is formed from finely turned sections designed to imitate natural bamboo, a highly fashionable decorative style during the Napoleon III period. The elegant proportions and warm honey-brown patina make this a wonderfully versatile decorative piece.
The mirror retains its original antique glass, displaying attractive age-related foxing and light spotting that enhance its authenticity and character.

Very good antique condition. The walnut frame is structurally sound with a lovely rich patina acquired over time. The original mirror plate has age-related foxing and light surface spotting consistent with its age, giving it the character expected of a genuine late nineteenth-century mirror.
