A beautifully proportioned late Victorian ebonised writing desk, dating from the late 19th century. Recently restored with a new plain red leather writing surface, this elegant desk combines classic Victorian craftsmanship with a clean, understated aesthetic that works beautifully in both traditional and contemporary interiors.
Raised on finely turned legs united by H-stretchers, the desk features two generous drawers fitted with brass drop handles and is finished on all sides, allowing it to be positioned freely within a room.
The new plain leather writing surface offers a fresh, refined appearance without the formality of traditional gilt tooling, making it particularly suited to modern interior schemes.
