A handsome late Victorian wardrobe of excellent quality, crafted in solid oak with beautifully figured burr walnut veneered panels to the doors and drawer fronts. The moulded cornice and plinth base give the piece a strong, well-proportioned architectural presence.
 
The twin doors open to reveal a generous hanging compartment with a brass rail, interior hooks and original pine backboards. Below are three deep drawers with dovetail construction and their original cast brass handles.
 
The rich patina of the burr walnut contrasts elegantly with the paler oak framework, showcasing the fine craftsmanship typical of the late 19th century. Both practical and decorative, this wardrobe would suit period, country house or traditional interiors.
