A beautiful pair of large mid-C20th plaster wall plaques, each depicting an elegantly draped classical female figure in the style of Neoclassical bas-relief. Framed in oval surrounds with bead and laurel borders, the plaques show graceful movement and finely modelled sculptural detail, inspired by the work of Flaxman and the wider Georgian decorative tradition.
 
In good vintage condition with light, age-related marks appropriate to plaster.
