This elegant mythical creature is modelled recumbent with a flowing mane, long spiral horn and stylised tail, all highlighted with rich gilt accents. The intricate handpainted fishnet decoration, for which Herend is internationally celebrated, gives the piece wonderful movement and depth while retaining a refined and whimsical quality.
Marked to the underside with the blue Herend shield mark and impressed numbers.
