Geoffrey Richard Mortimer was an East-Anglian painter and illustrator who made a name for himself in portraiture and particularly in racing scenes. He referred to himself as Richard and often signed his work R. Mortimer or GR Mortimer. One of his portraits hangs in the Norwich Civic Portrait Collection.
