A fine George III mahogany chest-on-chest, dating from the mid-18th century. The upper section features three short drawers above three long drawers, while the lower section is fitted with a brushing slide with small brass pull handles, and three deep drawers beneath.
 
The chest retains its original brass handles, and the top rail is beautifully detailed with oval inlays at the corners and cross-cut wood. Over the centuries it has received some sympathetic repairs, leaving it in strong, presentable condition while preserving its period character.
