Very simple but lovely etching of Frances Dodd's mother. The wife of a Wesleyan preacher she is plainly dressed and seated in a comfortable chair. You can see it has been drawn with love and affection very quickly while he could capture her. I'm guessing she did not sit still very often. It is in a wooden frame with single mount.
