A handsome Edwardian oak low chest of drawers dating from the early 20th century, retaining its original brass drop handles and attractive quarter-sawn oak grain throughout.
The chest is fitted with two generous full-width drawers, each running smoothly and offering excellent storage. The raised gallery back and clean, architectural lines give the piece a restrained Arts & Crafts influence, making it equally suitable for traditional and contemporary interiors.
Raised on shaped bracket feet, the warm oak has developed a rich patina over time and has been sympathetically cleaned and polished to enhance the natural figure of the timber.
An ideal piece for use as a hall chest, bedroom chest, media unit or console.
