An exceptional early C20th Swiss Davos sledge, beautifully made from solid wood with elegantly curved ends and original steel runners. This example retains its desirable “DAVOS” stamp, long associated with quality Swiss Alpine manufacture.
 
The timber shows a softly worn patina and the runners gentle oxidation, both consistent with age and use, adding to its authentic character. Structurally sound and presented in original condition, it embodies the craftsmanship and romance of traditional Alpine winter sports.
