American furniture manufacturer Drexel was founded in 1903 by the Huffman family in North Carolina. Following World War II Drexel merged with Heritage Furniture to become known as Drexel Heritage Furniture Company and was at one time considered one of the best regarded furniture manufacturers of the C20th.
