Derrick Latimer-Sayer, Three Studies of the Female Nude (1917-1992). He studied at the Chelsea School of Fine Art, under the impressive tutelege of Henry Moore and Graham Sutherland, followed by a period at Ben Nicholson's studio, in Paris. Life-drawing was often at the heart of Latimer-Sayer's practice, and this shows through here in this beautiful example in this pastel and brown wash study of three female nudes. Signed bottom left.
