Art Deco Turquoise Satin Glass Vase with Gilt Decoration, Continental Europe c.1925–1940

A striking Art Deco vase in softly opaque turquoise-blue satin glass, likely produced in Bohemia or Central Europe during the early 20th century. The elegant, gently tapering form is enriched with finely applied gilt banding and scrolling decoration to the rim, lending the piece both refinement and visual warmth.

The glass displays subtle movement and occasional tiny bubbles, characteristic of hand-finished production of the period. The gilding has mellowed beautifully with age, showing light, even wear that enhances its authenticity without detracting from its overall impact.

Raised on a thick, weighted base, the vase has a pleasing sense of balance and quality in the hand, making it as practical as it is decorative.

A versatile and sophisticated piece, equally suited to both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Condition:

Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Light, age-appropriate wear to the gilding.
