A Victorian adjustable shaving stand and vanity mirror, made from solid mahogany by the internationaly renowned James Shoolbred & Co., c. 1860. Jas Shoolbred was granted a royal warrant in the mid-1880s, and his furniture shop went on to become one of the first large-scale department stores in London.
