A charming antique footstool dating to the late Victorian / Edwardian period, standing on elegant turned wooden legs with a warm, aged patina.
The stool has been upholstered in a richly coloured tapestry-style fabric featuring autumnal foliage in deep reds, ochres, greens and muted blues. The slightly domed seat and generous padding make it both decorative and practical—ideal as a fireside footrest, dressing room stool, or occasional perch.
The legs are well-proportioned with classic bulbous turning, terminating in rounded feet, giving the piece a traditional and timeless English country house feel.
The underside retains a later black dust cover.
