A charming and authentic antique boot scraper, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1900), comprising a solid stone base with an original cast iron scraping bar. The iron has developed a naturally weathered patina over time, with areas of surface rust that add to its character and age.

The base is formed from solid natural stone, nicely timeworn with traces of moss to one end — a detail that reinforces its outdoor heritage and gives it real period appeal.

This piece would have originally been set by a doorway for cleaning mud from boots, and today makes a highly decorative and practical garden or entrance feature. It would sit beautifully by a country house door, stable block, or even styled indoors for a rustic look.

The iron shows excellent natural weathering with deep patina consistent with long-term outdoor use.
