A delightful late-Victorian or early-Edwardian folding child’s chair made from genuine bamboo with an all-cane slatted seat. The uprights are decorated with black branded (pyrograph) motifs, typical of the Anglo-Japanese influence popular in England between 1880 and 1910.
 
Lightweight yet well-constructed, the chair folds flat for storage and displays beautifully as a decorative accent or nursery piece.
