A particularly decorative late 19th to early 20th-century faux bamboo wall mirror, unusually presented in a landscape format.

The stained wooden frame is finely turned to imitate bamboo, with distinctive angled-cut finials extending beyond each corner. The rich, dark brown finish has mellowed beautifully with age, revealing warmer tones beneath and giving the frame considerable character.

The rectangular mirror plate sits neatly within the frame and the compact proportions make this a very useful decorative mirror for a bathroom, cloakroom, bedroom or above a small console.
