A c. 1925 Cloissoné vase that has been converted into a beautiful and unique lamp. The vase is set upon ormulu bottom sitting on an ebonised base, while the top has a brass edge and cover. The colours are of the famille verte school. 
 
Cloissoné is an ancient technique for decorating metalwork objects with coloured material held in place or separated by metal strips or wire, normally of gold.
 
Rewired and PAT tested.
