An imposing C18th oak Mule Chest. The front has seven smart ogee-shaped fielded panels and three fitted drawers below. This is a smart and useful piece of storage that would suit many homes.

Antique Mule Chests were a form of Coffer, the difference between them, is they have two or three drawers at the bottom of the wooden box. Mule chests likely gained their name as they resemble a cross between a chest of drawers and a simple chest!
