  • A Victorin Gothic-Revival style open armchair with ama`ing carved, fluted and curled arms terminating in a carved pineapple finial. The backrail and frontseat rail have applied decoration reminiscent of an earlier era. The legs are turned, tapering and fluted. Al the wooden surfaces have applied gilding to highlight various ornate features. 


    Made in the style of a chair first made by Pugin in the early 1800s.
