A striking tall vintage wooden pedestal, dating from approximately circa 1970, ideal for displaying sculpture, busts, planters or decorative objects.The pedestal features a square top and base with a gently stepped, architectural column form in between. The wood has developed a rich, warm patina over time. While the exact wood type is unknown, the piece has excellent visual weight and strong decorative presence, particularly suited to large interiors, hallways or retail / gallery settings.

Condition:
Structurally sound. There are a couple of visible age-related cracks to the wood, as shown in the photographs. These are entirely commensurate with age, do not detract from stability, and add to the character and authenticity of the piece. General surface wear consistent with age and use.
