A small but attractive C19th inlaid satinwood stool with turned legs. There is an old label underneath reading 'The Pantechnicon'. This was originally the name of a large establishment in Motcomb Street, Belgravia, London, opened in May 1831, that combined a picture gallery, a furniture shop, and the sale of carriages.
