A fine pair of late Victorian Newcastle mallet-form decanters, dating to around 1880. Each retains its original, well-fitted stopper, and both are presented in excellent condition, with just a single small chip noted (visible in the photographs). Elegant in form and beautifully crafted, these decanters are a wonderful example of C19th English glassmaking and remain highly decorative as well as practical.
