An attractive pair of Louis XV-style bedside tables c. 1935 with slender tapering legs set upon ormulu mounts. The pair are predominantly made of walnut, with other coloured fruitwood inlaid to the design. There are two small drawers to the front of each table. 

The marble tops are defined as rouge but have the appearance of a pale mauve, an unusual and highly attractive addition to each piece. There has been some professional restoration to the marble top of one of the tables, which is almost undetactable.
