  • A molded and carved gilded wooden firescreen depicting a tapestry wolf in a landscape, c. 1850. This firescreen forms part of a suite of a three seater canape (listed separately) and six fauteuil chairs (only one pair currently listed) upholstered in the same tapestry material and of the same period.


    CONDITION: Solid construction and the tapestry is good for its age. Some wear to gilding commensurate with age but if the client wishes we can give a quote to have it fully restored.
