A striking and beautifully handcrafted Middle Eastern floor lamp, featuring intricate pierced brass work with Moorish calligraphy and Islamic motifs. Rich in detail and character, this lamp comes complete with a shade and casts wonderfully atmospheric light when lit.
 
A comparable example is held in the Doris Duke Museum of Islamic Art. Some light tarnishing to the brass, consistent with age.
 
Currently continentally wired, but can be easily rewired to uk modern standards for the purchaser and PAT tested, should they wish.
