A late C17th oak coffer with a single oak plank top, above a four pannelled arched front and riased on shaped bracket feet.
This is clearly an estate made by an estate carpenter because the top is a one plank piece that must have come from an enormous tree.
The beauty of this piece is the quality of the wood and the simplicity of the design .
