A superb late C18th Spanish walnut box, retaining its original working key. The piece is fitted with decorative ironwork and a finely crafted lock, both fully functional. It stands on beautifully shaped paw-like feet, adding character and distinction. The box shows some gentle wear in line with its age but remains strong and solid.
