A highly decorative vintage majolica rooster pitcher, likely Italian (Bassano region) and dating from the mid-20th century. Beautifully modelled with vibrant hand-painted glazes in yellow, green, russet and cream. A wonderfully sculptural piece — both functional and a striking display object.
The jug has excellent presence and colour saturation, making it ideal for a country kitchen, dresser, or statement shelf.
