A charming interwar-period stool (circa 1920–1940) newly upholstered in premium Marvic houndstooth fabric by RD Goodchild. The soft rose-mauve tone gives it a refined, decorative presence, perfect for a dressing table, bedroom corner or as an occasional accent seat.
The frame is made of dark-stained beech, with beautifully detailed legs typical of the 1920s–40s. Each leg has square blocks at the top and base, a softly swollen baluster-turned centre, and a single ring turning, giving the stool subtle period elegance. The legs are united by a classic H-stretcher for strength and stability.
