A handsome late C19th Victorian oak extending dining table, beautifully made and full of period charm. Crafted from solid quarter-sawn oak, it features a richly figured top with moulded edges and finely turned, reeded legs with hand-carved floral rosettes at each corner. The table extends smoothly via its traditional wind-out mechanism, operated with the original crank handle, and includes three additional leaves, two at 25 cm and one at 50 cm, allowing it to comfortably seat up to twelve. A wonderful piece that combines elegant proportion with robust Victorian craftsmanship, ideal for both formal dining and everyday family use. The top will be polished before going out to a client.
