A C19th brass sextant by Whyte and Co. c. 1889. The piece comes with a mahogany handle and brass graduated lever. All lenses and other filters are included in the original fitted mahogany box. The arc is signed with the maker's name and address: Whyte and Co., 144 Broomielaw, Glasgow. A rare and interesting piece.
