The solid hardwood has acquired a rich patina through decades of use, with scratches, knocks, old repairs, marks and wear throughout that tell the story of its working life. Rather than detracting, these features give the chest tremendous character and authenticity.
The two drawers run smoothly and provide generous storage, while the original brass hardware remains intact with an attractive aged patina.
