A good quality 1930s English wingback armchair, professionally and recently reupholstered in Mulberry Home Shetland Plaid wool fabric in Teal (FD344/R11).
The chair retains its original beech frame with a traditional coil-sprung seat, turned hardwood legs and original metal cup castors. During reupholstery, several earlier layers of upholstery were uncovered, confirming its age and traditional construction.
The generous proportions, high winged back and deep sprung seat make this an exceptionally comfortable armchair, equally suited to a sitting room, library, study or bedroom.
The Mulberry Shetland Plaid fabric is a premium Scottish-woven wool, chosen for its durability and timeless country house character. The chair has been professionally upholstered to a high standard and is ready for immediate use.
