A wonderfully characterful vintage industrial steel stool, dating from the early to mid-20th century.
Constructed entirely from steel, with a circular pressed metal seat raised on three splayed legs, secured with prominent rivets and joined by triangular lower stretchers. The simple, functional construction gives it a particularly strong industrial aesthetic.
The steel has developed a beautifully time-worn patina, with areas of oxidation, surface wear and tonal variation throughout. We have deliberately left this completely untouched, preserving the honest character acquired through decades of use.
Unusually low and beautifully proportioned, it makes a fabulous plant stand, low side table or decorative display piece, as well as an authentic piece of vintage industrial furniture.
Condition:
Good, solid vintage condition with age-related wear, oxidation and surface marks consistent with its original utilitarian use.
